Review

rFactor 2 is a simulation car racing game developed designed and published by ISI (Image Space Incorporated) and is based on their new engine the IsiMotor 2.5 , rFactor2 is the follow-up of ISI s hugely successful and authentic racing simulation called rFactor. The new Isi engine has better lighting and more realistic graphics overall, also the tire data and its implementation is as real as it can get. Rfactor two will support mods developed by independent enthusiasts and used mod cars and tracks will be playable in the game. RFactor 2 though very realistic, can be a little unforgiving for the more casual sim racers. The beta version of the game has already started selling at $ 43.99 (which is a very decent price for so authentic a game – we expected it to be much higher) and currently has historic open wheelers historic spa and Monaco circuits, The Renault Megane cup licensed and much more. Coming to the best part about this game that rfactor didnt have is licensed content by ISI – which already has acquired a few licenses and is in the process of getting a few more, users mods are always welcome but ISI licensed cars and tracks give rfactor2 a level altogether. The full version of this game is planned for release in Q1 2013 and will be sold through online licensing only but future hard copies may always be a possibility.

We will do an extensive research coverage and review of the game once the full version is released. For now “All the best and well done ISI”.
